What to do in New York City
Then you’re in New York you will likely be overwhelmed by all the very many options that are presented to you. New York City is of course one of the most popular destinations for tourists in the whole world, and for a good reason. It is one of the world’s most incredible cities. It is huge, and contains aspects of almost all of the world’s cultures, and it seems like anyone from anywhere in the world can feel at home there — as long as they’ve been in the city before, otherwise it’ll be quite a shock.
There are a huge number of things presenting themselves to tourists as ways from them to spend their time, and more importantly for those offering, their money. Though most of these things simply are not worth wasting money on. There are things like the Empire State Building, and the Rockefeller Building. There’s the Statue of Liberty. The list could go on and on. But let me tell you this: none of those places are worth visiting, or at least they aren’t worth visiting when there is so much other stuff to do.
One of the best things about New York is the people. So why would you want to see lots of old buildings and then climb them? There’s no point. Sure, the contemporary furniture museum or whatever might sound good, but I recommend that instead you walk around, try to meet up with friends in the city if possible. They will show you a really good time, for sure.
