Natural United States Attractions

There are many attractions in the United States such as the Empire State Building, The Statue of Liberty and Las Vegas Casinos. People travel from all over the world to see such attractions, however, little do some know that the “real"attractions of the US are within its own natural art gallery.

The earth has many geographical, natural wonders to share. This natural beauty is all around us all over the world, however, the US does have some of the most magnificent to offer.

Meteor Crater in Arizona

The Arizona Meteor crater is the largest in the world. It is located close to Winslow and has become a very popular tourist attraction. People worldwide come to visit it. It is 4100 feet in diameter and 570 feet in depth. This crater was the result of a small planet around 130 feet in diameter crashing into the earth over 50,000 years ago.

Bar Harbor in Maine

This attractive harbor can be found along the coastal side of Maine, and has remained untouched by developers and oil companies alike. It is comparable to a cave inside cliffs and when the waves beat against the shore, sea water and air penetrates this harbor making the sound of thunder. However, its main attraction is the seawater which sprays out over 40 feet from its holes.

Old Faithful Geyser

Located in the Yellow Stone Park, this famous spring can spray 8400 gallons of hot water 145 feet high when it erupts. The spray lasts only a few minutes but can be seen every couple hours. It got its existence from a super volcano that erupted over 600,000 years ago with its lava shaping itself into giant basin land.

There are other natural attractions in the United States such as the Kilauea Volcano and The Grand Canyon. People come from all over to enjoy the beauty of these natural attractions.
